There are thoughtful ways to create stylish, kid-friendly spaces that can accommodate a growing family. We asked designers Kendall Wilkinson, Janette Crawford, Tineke Triggs and Shelley Cahan for their tips on achieving layered spaces that consider the demands of family life and instill an early appreciation for good design. Tineke Triggs Tineke Triggs, the founder of Artistic Designs for Living in San Francisco ( www.adlsf.com), says that one of the biggest challenges with kids is getting rid of the stuff. "Kids love to hoard," says the mother to Jaden, 11, and Ryan, 13, who shares some creative ways to battle the belongings.
